Ingredients:
Fructose, maltose, 4Life Tri-Factor Formula (from cow colostrum [milk] and egg yolk), sweetener (sorbitol E420), orange flavor, acidity regulator (malic acid E296), vanilla flavor, anti-caking agent (fatty acids E570).
Recommended dosage: one (1) chewable tablet three (3) times daily.
4Life Transfer Factor Chewable Tri-Factor Formula is not a drug.
NOT recommended for children (see note E420)
Can contains 90 chewable tablets and lasts for one (1) month.
Note from Walgenbach:
E 570 Fatty acids
Produced by saponification of fats. This releases glycerine (E 422) and fatty acids. As the fats are saponified in the same way during the digestive process, E 570 is considered physiologically safe. It is therefore also approved for all foods, for example as a coating agent for fruit.
Assessment: Harmless.
E 420 Sorbitol and sorbitol syrup
Sugar substitute. Also a softening agent for confectionery and humectant for cookies and marzipan. Even a few grams of sorbitol can cause severe diarrhea in sensitive people. The natural sorbitol content of apples is also the cause of the digestive problems that some people suffer from after drinking apple juice.
Assessment: Laxative that is not tolerated by children in particular. As sorbitol is naturally contained in pome fruit (apple juice), problematic limits can quickly be reached. For this reason, sorbitol does not belong in typical children's products such as sweets.
E 296 Malic acid
Malic acid is found in many fruits. As with lactic acid, there is an L-form and a D-form. Both the natural L-form and the synthetic D-form may be used in food. It has a slightly "grassy" taste that harmonizes well with tart flavours. Malic acid and its salts (malates) are obtained by chemical or biotechnological means. E 296 is also approved for organic products.
Rating: Acceptable.
