Cannabinol, such as THC and CBD,are phytocannabinoids extracted from the Cannabis plant. CBN, however, is not created within the Cannabis sativa. It is created through chemical processes where dried cannabis is exposed to the air for long periods of time.

CBN has a wide spectrum of positive effects. Previously conducted research is still in its early stages. Experts, however, state that CBN should relieve pain, have positive effects on sleep, be anti-bacterial, fight infections and relax muscles.

Its best attribute, however, is the relaxing effects it has on the body. According to US scientists, CBN can be held to the same standards as prescription drugs. This relaxing effect occurs thanks to its entourage effect with other cannabinoids and terpenes.
