Fish and olive oil in perfect balance with proven results

The scientific formulation in BalanceOil+ combines a unique variety of fish oil with beneficial levels of both omega-3 and omega-7, along with a scientifically certified portion of olive oil that provides high levels of polyphenols, phytonutrients and omega-9. This composition contributes to the increased oxidative stability of the omega-3 lipids.

The polyphenols bind to the omega-3 fatty acids and act as effective antioxidants that prevent oxidation of the lipids. Olive oil polyphenols mimic the polyphenols found naturally in fish, safely distributing the delicate omega-3 throughout the body and into the cell membranes. The polyphenols and marine lipids work together in a highly synergistic way, allowing the body to safely absorb, adjust and maintain omega-3 levels above the required 8% to achieve an omega-6:3 balance below 3:1.

Omega-6:3 ratio

The average ratio of omega-6 to omega-3 in people not taking omega-3 supplements is 12:1 in Northern Europe, 15:1 in Europe and 25:1 in the U.S. A study of the world's largest essential fatty acid database with more than 1,000,000+ tests, analyzed by the independent laboratory Vitas Analytical Services, shows that after 120 days of BalanceOil+ products, the average ratio is below 3:1 in all these geographic areas.

Spanish extra virgin olive oil in BalanceOil+

BalanceOil+ is made with extra virgin olive oil from the Spanish Picual olive, selected for its high omega-9 content and very high antioxidant content. Omega-9 (oleic acid) actively supports the normalization of blood cholesterol levels.

The olives are collected and pitted before the actual harvest, so that only the fruit is cold-pressed. The result is an extra virgin oil that is rich in omega-9 (oleic acid) and has a very high content (over 750 mg/kg) of antioxidants (known as polyphenols). These not only protect the BalanceOil+ in the bottle, but also your cells in particular.

Natural tocopherols

Mixed tocopherols are often used as antioxidants in food supplements. The natural tocopherols used in BalanceOil+ are made from special non-GMO, highly refined soybean oil distillates that are further refined to ensure they contain no soy proteins. This means that no allergens are present in the product. The typical composition in BalanceOil+ is: alpha, beta, gamma and delta tocopherols.

Pure vitamin D3

BalanceOil+ contains natural vitamin D3 (cholecalciferol) from lanolin, a natural fat found in sheep's wool. The vitamin D3 is produced by dissolving a precursor of vitamin D3 from lanolin and activated by UV radiation, similar to the process that takes place in human skin when it is exposed to sunlight.

Recommended use

Recommended use: 0.15 ml per kilo of body weight. Adjust the serving size according to body weight.

• Adults weighing 50 kg: 7.5 ml daily.
• Adults weighing 80 kg: 12 ml daily.

Storage

• Unopened bottles: Store in a dark, dry place at room temperature or in the refrigerator.
• Opened bottles: Store in the refrigerator and use within 45 days.

At temperatures below 4 °C, the olive oil in BalanceOil may become flaky due to solidification. The oil becomes clear again at room temperature. Keep out of the reach of children.

Recommended use: The recommended daily dose is 0.15 ml per 1 kg body weight and 3.0 ml from 20 kg body weight. The recommended daily dose must not be exceeded. The recommendations regarding the minimum daily amount of EPA and DHA vary according to countries and organizations. In Switzerland, the official maximum dosage for an adult is 500 mg EPA/DHA. There are no known negative effects from taking up to 3 g of omega-3 per day. Doses of more than 3 g are classified as medication and should only be taken under the supervision of a doctor.
