Energy
The B vitamins (B1-B12) and a number of minerals such as copper, magnesium, iodine and manganese contained in Xtend have health claims indicating that they are important for normal energy-yielding metabolism.

Bone and joint function
Xtend contains several vitamins and minerals with approved health claims related to bones and muscles. These are vitamins D, C, K as well as magnesium, manganese and zinc.

Normal immune system
Xtend contains beta-1,3/1,6-glucans. These nutrients come from the cell walls of highly purified, proprietary strains of baker's yeast. Xtend also contains several nutrients that contribute to a normal immune system. Several compounds (e.g. folic acid, iron, vitamin B6, copper) also contribute to the health benefits.

In addition to vitamins and minerals, Xtend also contains carotenoids, xanthophylls and a group of polyphenols from a selection of fruits, spices and vegetables.

Recommended daily intake
For adults and children aged 12 years and over: Take with a meal. 2-4 tablets daily. Do not exceed the daily dose.

Store unopened containers in a dark and dry place at room temperature or in the refrigerator.

Note
Food supplements are not a substitute for a balanced and varied diet. Accidental overdose of iron-containing supplements is one of the most common causes of fatal poisoning in children under 6 years of age. The product must not get into the hands of children. If you are taking a blood-thinning medication and wish to start taking vitamin K-containing supplements, it is important to consult your doctor first.

Please note that in Switzerland the maximum permitted daily dose for zeaxanthin is 2 mg, which corresponds to one capsule per day.
