The scientific formulation in Essent+ Premium combines a unique variety of fish oil with beneficial levels of omega-3, along with a scientifically certified level of olive oil that provides polyphenols, phytonutrients and omega-9, contributing to the increased oxidative stability of omega-3 lipids. The polyphenols bind to the omega-3 fatty acids and act as effective antioxidants that prevent oxidation of the lipids. R.E.V.O.O.'s enhanced polyphenols mimic the polyphenols naturally present in fish and transport the delicate omega-3s through the body until they safely reach the cell membranes. The polyphenols and marine lipids work together in a highly synergistic way, allowing the body to safely absorb, adjust and maintain omega-3 levels above the required 8% to achieve an omega-6:3 balance below 3:1.

The fish oil used in Essent+ Premium capsules is an omega-3 triglyceride concentrate derived from two selected sources to achieve the best possible results. These high quality triglyceride concentrates contain 85% EPA and DHA. With such a high concentration, only small amounts are required to get the desired results in our bodies, making them perfect for use in capsules. This particular triglyceride form is important as this is the form that occurs naturally in fish and plant species and is therefore the form that the body best recognizes and absorbs. In fact, over 98% of all fats absorbed from food are in the triglyceride form. Triglyceride fish oils are more complex and take longer to produce, but for us there is no other way. Vitamin D3

Essent+ Premium contains vitamin D3 (cholecalciferol) and 3 softgel capsules provide 20 µg. We use a natural vitamin D3 (cholecalciferol) from lanolin. Lanolin is a natural fat found in sheep's wool. Vitamin D3 is produced by dissolving a precursor of vitamin D3 from lanolin. This is then chemically modified and activated by UV radiation. The chemical process is similar to the process that takes place in human skin when it produces vitamin D3.
