The five levels of healing by Dr. Dietrich Klinghardt, MD
Holistic Healing Model - The Five Levels of Health
I developed this systematic healing model in the 1980s and have since taught it to practitioners around the world.
Many doctors and healers have been able to better understand their own work and offer more effective treatment options to their patients.
Our patients need care at all levels of existence. People can actually recover from chronic illness when there is a fundamental shift in their consciousness.
Healing on multiple levels of being
We exist in multiple dimensions simultaneously. The physical body is embedded in invisible etheric bodies with their own anatomy and physiology.
There is a living connection between these levels. At death, the physical body is discarded first, followed by the emotional and mental levels.
The fourth and fifth bodies survive. This system is known in many ancient cultures and is based on the Yoga Sutras of Patanjali, among others.
Level 1 - The physical body
The lowest level is the physical body. It forms the foundation on which all other levels rest.
It connects us to the earth and physical energy. Everything perceptible ends at the skin.
Level 2 - The energy or electrical body
This level includes electrical and magnetic processes of the nervous system.
Every cell emits biophotons. This light field regulates enzymes, nerve transmission, detoxification and numerous bodily functions.
Level 3 - The mental field
This level is formed by thoughts, beliefs and convictions.
It consists of an individual and a collective field, which Rupert Sheldrake calls the morphic field.
Diagnoses can have a nocebo effect here and perpetuate illness.
Level 4 - The intuitive or dream body
This level lies beyond language and rational thinking.
It includes archetypes, near-death experiences, karma and transgenerational conflicts.
A deep doctor-patient relationship can develop at this level.
Level 5 - The mind-body
This level is the level of self-healing.
The relationship here is exclusively between man and God.
No therapist can "help" at this level, but only accompany respectfully.
Healing between the levels
There are descending and ascending influences.
Problems on higher levels can produce symptoms on lower levels.
A purely physical approach cannot resolve psychological trauma.
Practical example - the iceberg model
A symptom is only the tip of the iceberg.
- Mental conflicts
- Toxic stress
- infections
True healing requires simultaneous work on all five levels.
Conclusion: Holistic medicine instead of symptom treatment
Healing occurs when physical, energetic, mental, intuitive and spiritual levels are considered simultaneously.
This model offers a deep understanding of why purely symptom-oriented medicine is often not enough.
